Employee guide · EAP support
Share this guide with your employer or HR team if your workplace does not have an EAP yet.
Explore supportSupport that fits around real life.
Work can be meaningful, demanding, or both. An EAP gives you a confidential place to talk through stress, change, relationships, low mood, anxiety, or the things that are difficult to name.
You do not need to wait for a crisis or arrive with the perfect explanation. A qualified therapist can help you make sense of what is happening and decide what might help next.
Your employer may make the route to support available, but the therapeutic relationship is for you. Read the specific privacy information for your workplace arrangement before beginning.
How it works
01 · Check your route
Use the information from your employer, or share this guide with HR so they can explore an arrangement.
02 · Choose your first step
Create an account or sign in, then review the available next steps and support information.
03 · Talk at your pace
Meet a qualified therapist privately online, with a plan shaped around your needs and circumstances.
A private space to speak honestly.
Your conversations
Personal therapy conversations are not a workplace performance report.
Your pace
You can take time to understand what you need and what feels manageable.
Your choices
A therapist can offer options; you remain part of deciding what happens next.
Your safety
Confidentiality has limits where there is a serious and immediate safety concern, which your therapist will explain.
You can start with a question.
What is an Employee Assistance Programme?
An EAP is a workplace-supported route to practical and emotional support. Your employer chooses the arrangement, while your conversations with a therapist remain private within the limits explained before support begins.
Will my employer know what I talk about?
Therapy conversations are not shared with your employer as personal clinical detail. Any organisation-level reporting must be agreed separately and should use appropriate safeguards and aggregate information.
